Wonderful book
My daughters (aged 5 and 7) love this book. Beautiful illustrations, interesting and informative. Great way to get children interested in and learn about different cultures, experiences and ways of living

Stunning and interesting book.
Absolutely adored this beautiful picture book! There are quite a few books around that tell the stories of children from different parts of the world but this one featured some really fascinating and unusual places with parts of life that are so different to most children's experiences. It looks beautiful and is a brilliant read - we've read it cover to cover several times already.

Shouldn't be on the Kindle
Bought as recommended for eight year old by his school.The way the pictures and words are combined make it all but unreadable on a kindle.Some pages you end up fighting the auto rotate.It's clear that whoever produced the Kindle version didn't bother to check what they had produced.

Prejudiced children’s book. Not recommended.
The art is stunning but the content is not okay. For each city/place, there are about 200 words description. What to be put about the place, is the author’s choice. Who purposefully chooses the best perspectives for places she likes, and a negative perspective for the place she doesn’t like. How prejudiced is that. I sincerely feel sorry for the author, but she is misleading the young to be as much as prejudiced as she is.
