Q: is it possible to add more padding?

you will be able to add onto the existing padding but you will have to ensure you use the correct glue as it might not stick on properly to the existing padding with ordinary glue. the padding that is on it now is sufficient enough for your glasses to sit as they would if they were on your nose.
