Just what I was lookin for!
Has a really potent smell but not off putting! At least not to me! Its good for insomnia & anxiety! Cant wait to make tea with it.

Sleeping like a baby!
I’ve been using this valerian root for a while now and it always puts me right to sleep! Unfortunately, valerian root has a very pungent smell which I was not expecting but that leads me to believe that this is a very quality harvest. On the bright side, once it’s brewed into tea, it tastes quite good!

Can smell it through the package. Never actually seen the roots before. Kind of neat buy of the stinky kind. Appreciate its properties.

These roots had very little flavor.

Good smell! Strong.
Smells stronger than shredded root. Making a tincture. I'll let you know in a month how it works. Of course, valerians taste is reminiscent of dung.
