Strong and just the right size for most screens
I really like these rolls. It has been great for our business because we are able to offer screen mesh replacement on the job site. It’s easy to transport in our vehicle. The materials light but also really strong. Also, most customers have charcoal Screen mesh. I always think it’s funny when I see people trying to use the same mesh they had before that has gotten sun damaged by putting on some kind of black solvent to make the color look nice. Because while you are trying to make it look better. The other issue is the screen mesh is weaker and already damaged and so at one point another you’re going to have to replace it anyways so why not just replace the whole screen mesh so that it looks good. Plus when you try to use something to just hide the problem it has oils on it and so when it rains some of that will get on your window and it will mess up the look of the glass. When using this, I would recommend having a spinner, a box, cutter, knife, a flathead screwdriver, and a way to keep the screen mesh tight while you are rolling it on. You might need a couple different tries to get it right. One thing to keep in mind as well is that if you were dealing with different size screens, try to utilize the 36 inch with as much as you can because you could likely get 10 or more screens out of it, depending on how you orient the layout

Great money saver
We rescreened a lot of windows with this! The first one was a "learning experience" and we had to toss the screen material. However, it gets easier with practice and I am glad we tried this. The material looks flimsy, but once it's stretched on the screen it looks great. Keeps bugs out, lets fresh air in. Saved a bunch of money.

Work good for the installation
The installation was easy. The screen isn’t heavy duty. If you have pets that tear up screens don’t use this screen. Go with a metal screen.

Screen replacement fabric
Good product. I had to replace the fabric on 9 screens in my lanai so the larger size helped me do them in 1 piece. Good stretch to it also so the results were terrific

With the Right Tool, Frustration Factor Nonexistent
After checking in with sites that were offering to repair or replace screens, I was in sticker shock. I decided to see if I could replace the mesh myself. I ordered the mesh along with separate replacement mesh 'retainer cord' and a necessary 'screen rolling tool.' When the replacements arrived, I proceeded to tackle the job at hand and discovered how easy and simple it was to replace the mesh for my window screen. I measured and cut the mesh to fit the window screen allowing for about 3 inches along each side. It is important to allow for the extra because the process of securing the mesh requires some leeway as you go around the perimeter. The excess is easy trimmed when the job is complete. The whole process works best id you work in a flat surface equaling the size of the window screen. The floor works well or a dining room table with cloth underneath to protect the table's finish. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. The mesh was perfectly aligned and was taut within the frame. The mesh is sturdy and should last a long time under normal wear and exposure to the elements in the mid-Atlantic area. With plenty of mesh to restore several window screens, I am actually looking forward to the next time I need to repair one. The frustration factor is non existent in tackling this DIY task. The best part of the whole experience is the mesh and the other 2 mentioned purchases were a very small fraction of the cost of having this done by professionals.
