Rhapsody Luxury 3035 Executive Steel Fountain Pen NAVY BLUE Ink Pens ~ 0.5mm Medium-Fine Nib

This fountain pen costs the same as a disposable fountain pen, so is amazing value for money. The main thing is that it writes so well - very smooth. It is also very stylish and built from good materials. I haven't deducted any stars for its flaws because of its price, but they are: cap does not post and the supplied cartridges are difficult to fit.

This pen is perfect. It has a super comfortable weight distribution and looks extremely professional. It glides across the page with no effort. The provided Jinhao ink will slightly bleed through thinner paper, but is extremely fast-drying and very smooth. The pen also comes with a refillable cartridge if you wish to use your own ink. Changing cartridges is painless and the ink flows to the nib relatively quickly. The body of the pen is full metal, giving it a really nice weighty feeling in your hand, and the lid snaps onto the bottom of the pen for convenient storage while writing. Overall an amazing budget option.

I use this to write in a vintage journal so it works well for the type of paper. But I’ve found on normal paper it’s very blotty and too wet

Incredible little pen! I'm fountain pen obsessive and being illustrator, I've used anything from Lamy,to Rotring to Faber-Castell. I have hundreds of German and Japanese pens,but this pen was a total surprise for it's incredible value and amazing quality. The smallest nib I've ever seen,yet writes smooth and without scratch. Surprisingly light,despite being stainless steel.It might be too light for people, who like heavy pens,but for others like me,who constantly write stories and doddle it's simply perfect! Highly recommended. It arrived the next day after being dispatched,which was simply amazing!(not on prime).

Well, there's not a -huge- amount of things to write about here, if you need a really in-depth fountain pen ink review of these just search for the FountainPenNetwork reviews. I haven't used them yet, but I have some acquaintances to have and they love 'em. At £2.99 a 10-pack in the form of 2 5-packs (sometimes as low as £1.99!! So 19-29p a cart) this is extremely good value for fountain pen refills.There are cheaper brands than this, but they seem a lot more disposable and low-quality although admittedly I can't comment too much on this. Jinhao is a reputable brand from China (that I would personally compare to the likes of Parker in terms of quality), so if you feel the name is a bit unusual, don't worry, they're actually a pretty big company.I will update this review including pictures once my fountain pens actually arrive; I happen to be waiting for a Jinhao X750 pen (£3.50) and Baoer 801 (£2.00) as I write this. Come nicely packaged!**UPDATE** : My 801 came. Ink works well, flows nicely and looks fantastic on paper. 100% a recommended buy, very high value-for-money ink carts.

Good quality pen, easy to write with.

The pen is a little too thin for my liking. Also it doesn't have a very large refilling reseptixal. But it writes smoothly and is quite cheap.

It’s a good pen but I find it to be very light and the writing feels a little edgy, not smooth like my other fountain pens. Not a bad pen for the price. The colour scheme is very good.
