Washburn Electro Acoustic 6 String Guitar, Right, Striped Ebony (DFEACE)

This is a great guitar for the price. I've been playing acoustics primarily for almost 20 years and seen it all throughout that time.As a recently released model, this guitar had very little in the way of reviews or videos pertaining to it's quality, tone, etc. Safe to say, I hedged my bets on the reputability and longevity of Washburn. And I'm glad I did!The beautiful Ebony woodgrain looks amazing through the stain and the hardware, balance, and electronics are all good quality.I picked this model for the cutout that lets me reach the higher frets with ease. That being said, open string chords sound amazing with the Ebony build. Compared to 'acoustic compression', the tone is a warmer, darker tone. Less of the sparkle and shimmer of a Maplewood, but more of a deeper sound that translates really well to rock/blues songs.As with any brand-spankin' new guitar, this also requires a bit of a 'break-in' period to really shine. So get it, play it, and love it!

First 3 notes on bottom E string won’t play because they are too close to the fret. They received the returned product 20 days ago and it is still not marked as returned.

Tenía mis dudas por el origen de fabricación, pero es un buen instrumento, tiene buena apariencia, está un rango medio de sonido, ni muy brillante ni muy opaco el sonido. Si debo decir que le falta un poco de "punch" a la hora que se amplifica, pero ya eso depende del uso que se le de. Asumo que se podría cambiar la pastilla para mejor proyección. ( error dejar de usar fishman señores de Washburn) Los controles de la pastilla me parecen pequeños, si estás tocando en vivo ajustar puede ser un reto pero nada de morirse.Me decidí por Washburn porque tengo una Washburn E-A10 de los 90 que todavía suena muy bien.
