An accurate, reliable rifle
I've put around 400 rounds through my 753S so far, and I'm impressed. The only thing that could be improved is the trigger, as it's a bit heavy for my taste. Numerous trigger tuning tutorials are available, so no problem there. It's an accurate nice handling rifle with excellent sights. If you're looking to get into 10 meter competition, this gun is an affordable way to get started. Highly recommended!

Match grade accuracy; def for adults; heckuva practice tool for serious competition!
First of all, I saved a bundle buying this via Amazon as opposed to either of the online “air gun houses.” I had purchased a Daisy 499 BN gun but, sent it back as, even though it was extremely accurate, it was just anemic and lacked sufficient FPS past 10 feet. NOT this 753S - this thing is a tack driver and capable of dead nuts accuracy - WITH MATCH GRADE PELLETS - all day long. I have shot 3-position target rifle (rimfire) at 50ft indoors and this air rifle is so accurate shooting “official” 10M rifle targets actually got boring - too much black - this air rifle is so accurate I now simply use 3/4” round black target pasters as my targets on a white sheet of paper taped to a cardboard box from a measured off 10 meters. (I inserted a square piece of rubber backed carpeting inside the box to safely stop the pellets from this rifle as well as my target air pistol. Pellets I am using with tremendous success are all on the “light” side and include: H&N Light, Diabolo Light Finale Match RWS Meisterkulgen (light and heavy), RWS R10, Norma Match, etc.) DO NOT TRY TO SHOOT CHEAP off-the-same-shelf as crap pellets through this air rifle!!! NO WAY a am I even considering the hassle or expense of air “tanks” or other means of compressed air when I can use this rifle for serious , serious precision practice whenever the oppty allows me, throughout the day (or night as it is so quiet no one can hear it when I am in basement)! I have been using the rifle for 20-50 shots of 10M target practice for about 1 month now, for what that’s worth ... VERY happy I have it and the daily practice sessions have already PAID OFF in spades when I shoot centerfire and Rimfire rifle outdoors, etc.

Looks like a cheap toy
Air gun may shoot like a dream but seriously looks like a cheap Matel toy. My $45 plastic pump Crosman looks far better than this gun. Looks may not be everything but should mean something. I’m very disappointed. I never even put the sights on. In my opinion it’s that bad. Look for a CO2 Hammerli instead at a near same price! That gun is made in Germany and made of plastic but looks and shoots great! It’s not a competition gun however. Now on the other hand if your getting this for 10 meter training as an introduction to this sport.... maybe getting this makes sense. The only advantage of this rifle is that it is a single stroke pump. That part I like. However Air Arms makes a nice introductory 10 meter air rifle but at twice the price. Downside is it’s a PCP. There just isn’t any other good direct competition out there for this niche market. Therefore Daisy gets away with this junk.

True marksmanship development tool
For anyone who want to learn the fundamental of marksmanship without spending thousands, this is the perfect rifle. Its only shortcoming is the very average trigger. The trigger itself is plastic and has some flex. But the main issue is the stamped out sear and the rough surface of the striker. This combo makes for a rough and unpredictable trigger pull that jumps from one rough spot to the next. Luckily, for the mildly handy shooter, this is easily fixable by taking the action apart and polishing both the sear and the striker with #1000 grit paper. There are plenty of guides available online that describes what needs to be done. The CMP's website has a PDF about the trigger mod for instance.

Great 10m practice rifle
Bought this for my daught because she joined the rifle team at school. I couldn't afford the rifles the school use but wanted her to be able to practice with a similar rifle at home. This rifle is great for anyone on a budget and wants an accurate 10m rifle.

Great Air Rifle
Really like this air rifle. I train lots of Cub and Boy Scouts and this is a great gun to use.

Waste of money
Poor quality and took over 6 MONTHS for refund aside from a $50 restocking fee.I had to wait 6 months after returning and then pay $50 restocking, what a joke

Amazingly accurate 10m target rifle for this price.
Although the box had suffered some rough handling and the foam packing had cracked, everything was still there and not damaged. After attaching the sling and sights...WOW this thing is accurate! Using 8.2 grain wadcutters at 10 meters in prone position, every hole touches. Sure, you have to roll over to pump it and the trigger is hard plastic but the trigger is predictable and relatively light and so is the weight of the rifle. The rear diopter and front barrel sights are also hard plastic but they work together just like they should. If you want to try real target shooting at the sporter level, get this rifle first.
