Perfect.
I bought this product to grow my own herbs and vegetables indoors. I was impressed by how easy it was to set up and use. I just planted the seeds in the pods, filled the water tanks, and plugged in the LED grow light. The light has three modes: white, pink, and red, and it can be adjusted in height and angle to suit different plants. The light also has a timer function that allows me to set the on and off time according to the plants’ needs. The water tanks are removable and have a water level indicator that tells me when to refill them. The hydroponics system ensures that the plants get enough water and nutrients without soil. The pods are spacious and can accommodate up to 20 plants at a time. I love that I can grow a variety of herbs and vegetables such as basil, mint, parsley, lettuce, spinach, cherry tomatoes, and more. The plants grow fast and healthy, and they taste fresh and delicious. I think this product is a great way to enjoy gardening indoors and have access to fresh produce all year round.

Light does not go low enough for seed sprouting and other critic
1. Expensive for what it is, even in sale £82. I feel that the light could of been a bit better and wider too as it could cover the depth of the tray and had more LEDs.2. Side note: RRP was £139 at time of purchase for weeks and then when buying sale price RRP was £95. Contacted idoo about this discrepancy. They say Amazon control RRP based on other products. I searched Amazon forever and I see no other 20 pod systems Amazon can compare to. Why they go from £139 RRP to £95 RRP, then change again to £139 RRP is odd. In other words don't go by RRP to get an idea of sale discount.3. The telescopic poles don't lift up together, they are stiff. I have no choice to lift one pole and then the other, where the manual says lift both together. One pole is really stiff that I have to spend 30 mins just to raise it 5cm!4. All containers lined up and there is a gap at the end, so they could if made them a fraction bigger. And it is a little annoying as I'm a perfectionist for design.5. The water level indicator doesn't show very clearly in my opinion the water level as it's dark. Especially people with poorer vision which I don't have.6. Also more importantly when I can't see if the roots are slightly hitting the water I can't see how much water to add. If I lift them out to look, I can't see when putting them back is as I can't see through plastic. I wish the water indicator window was larger to see if roots hit water. Its not as simple to just add in more water because there needs to be a gap for oxygen. This is my issue more with starting out, when the roots have got much longer it's not an issue as some roots will touch water for sure. I don't think there's much that can be done but if the water indicator window was a bit bigger without letting in too much light to roots, I could see more.7. The baskets and sponges I got were really short. Contacted idoo and they said they have switched to bigger ones, but some kits still have the smaller ones. With some negotiation (they wanted to sell me the larger baskets and sponges at first) I was able to get them to post me larger ones. Thank you idoo for doing this. So just be aware that you may get the smaller ones.8. The sponges when fully expanded do not touch the side of the baskets and when growing seeds my attention to detail means I notice things like this, where the sponge could of been a bit wider in the basket without a gap showing.9. Idoo do not supply caps to cover the holes not being used. The manual rightly says to cover the holes to prevent light getting into where the roots are growing and prevent algae. The thing is with this expensive kit I would of expected them to of provided something like a flat cap to cover unused holes. I had to do a bit of DIY to make this work as I think putting foil over it is ugly. I paid a lot of money for this system to look nice. So I cut the cups the give for propagating seeds for humidity. I cut them so when turned upside down they just slot in the hole. I coloured them in multiple times with permanent black pen both on the inside and outside to prevent most light. As pictured. Hassle but it looks nicer than covering holes with foil. Idoo does not suggest how to cover unused holes, so they basically are saying their is an issue and we have not provided the basic means to fix it.10. The light at its lowest, pictured, is not low enough to prevent seeds starting out (a seed just sprouted) from going leggy. I asked idoo if I can get the light lower and they just told me to look in the manual. I sent them this picture, to show I think it's the lowest it can go. As you can see I have raised up containers as high as I can, but I can't get them higher. I would still like the light to drop another 2.5" lower. It is my experience that seeds sprouted need light to be 2-3" above leaves. With me lifting the containers up (which by the way is a big thumbs down for me as it looks ugly I had to raise them up), they are at 3.5" to light. If I did not raise them up they are 5.5" from the lowest light position. Leaving leggy seeds to form especially if not getting extra light by a window. This should of been an easy fix for idoo to lower it more. Idoo just say that is low enough for seed starts but I do not agree.11. A disadvantage is that light needs to be about 3" from a plant. Now seeds grow at different rates and times. They don't all sprout at the same time. So what I have to do is raise some up and lower some, which looks ugly. My lettuce is already bigger than tiny seeds just sprouting, so the light can't be the same height otherwise it's either leggy seeds or burnt leaves. For beginners this may go unnoticed. And there is nothing that can be done I'm just stuck with the ugliness of putting something underneath to raise up the one with seeds in and keep the ones with lettuce in lower down. I'm sure this will get more difficult as plants grow at different heights and rates and can't be avoided.12. Little holes for the plant name tags to go are rubbish. They look rubbish and easily fall out. They are not worth putting in from my experience. But that is preference. I would of preferred long tags rather than the wide tags they provide, but they don't fit in the holes. I think this design needs looking at.I appreciate not everyone will share my views. My experience is my own. Thanks for reading.
