To start off... I work in an indoor greenhouse with harsh UV lighting. This lighting fades any fashion color super fast.I must say I have had this product in my hair for almost 2 weeks and it looks just as bright as it did when I dyed it. I started with a level 7 (dark blonde) at the root and maybe 8-9 (lighter blonde) at the ends. My hair was yellow/orangey in some spots. The Ultra violet perfectly covered all of my hair. Even the darker spots. It’s a nice cooler purple but does not have any funky blue or grays in it. I have tried other purples from different brands and they always end up warm and pink due to the warmer tones in my hair. I am so impressed by this product!This product did not dry my hair out at all. I ordered a two pack since I have waist-length hair (but it is also on the finer side). One jar was just enough. I left it on for about 45-60 minutes.I definitely recommend this dye if you are looking for a cooler tone, true violet.

love manic panic, been using it for 8 yrs but alaska doesnt sell it. a someone who changes their hair color every month/other month this is perfect. stays on when i want it too, only fades when i'm activly trynna fade it

If you want to do something extra with your hair but not permanent, this is it! It was easy to apply, it did get a little messy but nothing a little bit of bleach couldn't fix. It lasted about 2 weeks (thats with me washing my hair everyday) before it started to wash off. I did not bleach my hair beforehand it is between a light and dark brown. Did not damage my hair in anyway!

This can also be used for subtle color. I use this with conditioner to make a pastel toner for platinum highlights. The color always comes out beautiful and I get tons of compliments. Platinum strands get very white and there is a faint shimmery violet halo to the rest of my hair which changes a little with every shampoo. Love it.

I bleached my hair 2 times b4 using manic panic. It was. NOT worth it. I used a different brand after and it came out so beautiful

Love LOVE LOVE the color. But faded EXTREMELY quickly (as in, the color was fading after one day!!!)Great for temporary fun. But even on my hair that was lightened to a white-blonde this color had NO staying power AT ALL. I was hoping for at least two weeks, it barely lasted 3 days (and that’s without washing my hair or using any products or styling)

I was new at doing this sort of thing, but my daughter wanted purple hair. She’s naturally dark blond and I thought it was light enough already not to use the lightener first. Next time, I would use the lightener product first. Instructions were easy, just need more product for her hair type it seems.
