Works great for a Fodmap diet

I love the fact that I could add the flavor without actually having to use a real onion. I'm not a fan of eating onions, but will gladly put on the powder or replacer on my foods. Plus, it does not bother my stomach at all.

This product works well and provides great flavor for those avoiding onions. It is important to follow the directions regarding cooking with oil - the product will not dissolve. It has created "texture" differences in recipes but I am sure I can work on that as I use it more.

I can't eat regular onions due to my stomach, so this low FODMAP onion seasoning is a great replacement. I buy it every time I run low.

While this product isn't a perfect replacement for onion powder for those without dietary limitations, its at least a valid way to add that earthy onion-like flavor for those on a FODMAP diet.This product is an ultra fine white powder concentrate somewhat like saccharine sugar substitute. This bag should last you a LONG time.I haven't used it enough to yet to say how it reacts to being cooked.I made some ranch dressing(mayo-almond milk-salt-pepper and imitation onion and garlic powders) and the onion powder taste just like onion powder. Although, there seems to be a bit of after-taste that lingers, somewhat like sugar substitutes do with sodas.

The smell is unbearable. It's Horrible! I can't get the smell off my hands either after opening it. I washed my hands and rubbed lemon on them and still...this horrible smell. I threw it out! Disgusting!

Love the flavor this adds to our food. Our son eats lo fodmap and this was perfect.

Nice for flavoring FODMAP foods, but, dang, the price is high. Is it worth it? I don't know....
