Mounting bracket for my application was backwards, reconfigured bracket and all worked as it should

Easy to put in, can use part mount several time if need to because it is screwed in and not rivited. Perfors good.

I just put the part yesterday. I had to redo the mounting hole in both sides

Well it came in but the holes on the mount are like 3/8 inch and the bolts to mount to your engine are going to be 9/16 on any 3.0 engine. It bolts to the head and they all have one size holes so you can take it to the bank.Look at the pics. I was tempted to just drill them out. That works fine for the round hole but the slotted is a different story. The drill will want to bush right thru the slot and when you try to hold it you will probably hurt yourself. I was bleeding all over the place by the time I was doneIt is actually worse that the pics show. Be carefull when you buy this and it is a shame that it wouldn't simply bolt one.Also in the second pic you will see where you should sand the paint off the bottom of the mount so that it will get a good ground to your engine. My factory one had the paint removed in this area.It works other wise but if I saw what I am showing you, I would have simply went somewhere else so I could simply bolt it on and not deal with this trouble.One more thing. The original had a much better mount riveted on both side of the coil. That was why you cant simply change the mount and this Amazon one is a lot cheesier.Even though this works I am going to go buy a better one and keep this as a spare.I don't trust it.
