Q: is it remote controlled ? can you push it for short distances ?

Not remote controlled. It's designed to be accompanied. No need to push short distances just put on low speed. It is designed to be pushed if you move the wheels to edge of axels which is for times battery runs out which it won't for a couple of rounds though I charge after each one. I don't need a remote controlled cart and this has been perfect for me.
