The material is beyond expected.Indeed, extremely very soft!

This cover fits perfectly over my infant car seat and easily doubles as a nursing cover. I love that the material blocks out the wind from her car seat and holds in her body heat but is also light enough that it doesn't smother her when she is nursing. The material is not see through at all and feels sort of silky to the touch. I am 175 pounds and sort of stocky and this cover completely encompasses me and my 6 week old. It folds or rolls up compactly to fit in my purse or diaper bag for easy access. Bonus: it has a contrasting design which entertains her during car rides as the sun shines on it.

Do not care for this nursing cover. Yes, it is multi-functional and design is cute.....I haven’t tried using it for a shopping cart. However, very disappointed with the material. I believe it is 100% polyester, which does not breathe and makes it very hot when covering the baby to nurse. There are other nursing covers out there, much softer, stretchier and made out of breathable fabric for mother and baby. There are also similar in price. I have used covers by Hicoco and like theirs much better. I would save your money and buy a different nursing cover made out of cotton!Updated review!!I am changing my original review from two stars to four because of their customer service. I bought this for the car seat, but i use it mostly for nursing. Baby actually nurses a little better (we've had a bit of a struggle) I love it because it's stretchy and comfy. I tuck it under baby to kind of cocoon him in, it's very snuggly. This is my favorite cover, and I've nursed 3 other babies with the pricey fancy "bib" covers. Love this buy it you won't be disappointed.

I like the light weight material and ease of use. It would be nice to see instructions on the different uses as a car seat cover and as nursing cover. The cut of the material makes it a little more time consuming to try to figure out how to put it on especially if you have never used one before. Also I had gifted one to a friend (first time mom) who had no idea what it was. Product labeling would be nice with instructions instead of it just coming in a clear bag.
