Lead is smooth. Grip is perfect for my hand and the eraser is the best! These are the only ones I buy.

Great Quality
Got this pencil for my kids and it is great. The lead is thick and sturdy to withstand the abuse by kids. Comes with extra led and erasers which erase very well. It was so welcomed we ended up buying another!Just remember this is a thicker led...

They’re the best
These are my favorite mechanical pencils. When I wanted to buy more, I saw them on Amazon for a really reasonable price and ordered them. Since they have .9mm leads, they do not break easily, are not scratchy and produce a strong, readable line. They are comfortable to hold and come with extra erasers and leads in a little case. I like to keep a pencil handy rather than a pen to write notes to myself or jot down info when I’m on the phone because I don’t have to deal with the frustration of a dry pen.

I love these pencils The lead is smooth writing, soft enough to give a solid impression, while responsive enough to show the details of your writing style. Great that extra leads are included. The grip feels comfortable & allows for good control while writing. So glad I found these pencils.
