Perfectly works on my Old HP Pavilion DV6.

It works only at start time and later it’s not working! and amazon also giving useless suggestions like is the check the switch box is working :(

Smaller than Original
The first thing to keep in mind is, do you even need this Charger? Google and make sure that you need a minimum 90W Charger. If you're buying this then it's most probably for an old laptop so if your Laptop Model needs a minimum of 65W then go for that as it will be cheaper. Now if you are sure that you need a 90W Charger, then there are two options to choose from, (19V,4.74A) and (19.5V, 4.62A). Both are 90W and you can go for either one of them.Now for the Review, as you can see in the Photos, the charger is smaller in size as compared to the Original HP Charger (90W). Only Length is smaller, width and breadth are the same. The cable is also short, almost half of the Original and thinner. Keep all these things in mind before buying, especially Cable Length. As for Heating Issues, I didn't feel any. I used it for a couple of days continuously from Morning to Late Night and it wasn't warm enough. I have personally used it with HP EliteBook 840 G1 and HP EliteBook 8440p. Make sure you Google the minimum wattage of Charger your Laptop need. It can be more than that, but not less.Conclusion:- You can easily buy this charger if you're looking for a 90W Charger, the only drawback is cable length. If you are ok with that then it's a Value for Money Product.

Mistake was mine - The adapter tip should have been Acer or Asus, and did not fit
I was looking for a replacement adapter for a Seagate Business Storage (NAS) the power supply of which had failed. However the tip of the adapter did not fit - the mistake being entirely mine; I should have asked for an adapter for an Acer or a Asus which would have provided the needed adapter tip - I did order one later and got it to fit. Still working!
