The only bummer about this book is that the pages are on the thinner side. Not offensively thin or anything, but thin enough that I don't want to use my Micron pens on both sides of one page. But thick enough that I can use them on one side and it doesn't bleed through. So while it doesn't bleed through, my drawing is somewhat visible. My solution is to use my ink pens on one side only and either leave the back side blank or maybe do a light pencil sketch. Not ideal obviously, but I suppose I should expect to pay more for thicker paper.That being said, the pages are incredibly smooth, probably the smoothest paper I've ever used. Smooth paper like this would be great for colored pencils. And despite being on the thinner side, they still have a good feel and turnability and the book feels nice in the hands. The binding is solid and it opens fairly flat. It has a nice ribbon marker and the covers are sturdy. The overall construction of the book is excellent.Don't buy it for the "stickers" by the way, it's just a few blank labels, nothing fun. There is a nice little pocket in the back though, to tuck away scraps or secret things.I'm pleased with it overall, but I may have to find something a little heavier for my Micron ink pens. But it'll be nice to paste things into, for pencil sketches, colored pencils, etc. The size is perfect for tossing in a bag or backpack as well.
