Very Comforatble
Great chair. Logged many hours in it already and is very comfortable. Simple controls and easy to adjust. A little wider than a normal chair. Very happy so far (had around 2 months).

A good sturdy chair... but I wouldn't call it "tall!"
The chair is fairly well-made and seems very durable, but a few flaws kept me from giving this chair full marks. It's almost shockingly low to the ground for a "big & tall" chair. I'm 6' 3", and I use the chair with larger polyurethane wheels which add a good inch or two to the overall height, but at full extension, the chair is still a little lower than I would like. The lumbar support isn't adjustable at all. Actually, there are surprisingly few adjustable features for a chair at this price point. Just seat height and tilt tension.Another irritation is the "star" base itself. It's made of steel, which is good... but the top part is pressed sheet metal, and very uncomfortable should the edge of it catch you on the heel. HOWEVER... I'm willing to admit that the aforementioned polyurethane wheels make this more likely than it would be with the provided plastic wheels. Also, it feels like mine tilts slightly to the right. I haven't put a spirit level on it, so it might be my behind that's crooked.

Didn't last a year
Only goes 17 inches off the ground now, pretty useless. Highly disappointed.

A Very So-So Model
I wanted to give myself at least two weeks before writing a review. First off, there appear to be three different models for this type of HON chair, and I purchased the "best" one, the one ending in number 585. Second, contrary to several reviewers of this chair, mine came properly packaged and ready to be assembled. I do like the unique hybrid of mesh and leather, and the back's lumbar shift is minimal in terms of how high or low it goes, but it has held its positions when I've adjusted it. Now, to the less-than-stellar: I agree 100% with a recent reviewer who said that the chair should NOT be classified as "tall"; in fact, it may be hard to believe that every day since I have been using this chair, I have reached down to the side lever to try and adjust the seat height, thinking each time that my 210-pound body is not being supported properly by a chair that purports to keep someone almost twice as heavy as I am comfortable. And yet...the chair is set as high as it can be, and were I to press the lever, it would sink even lower. And, unlike the just-mentioned reviewer, I am much shorter than he is (I'm 5'7") and I still feel that the chair is way too low to the ground. Finally, the seat itself somehow feels "off" (It is hard to explain, and I did get excellent service from Amazon to have the chair assembled without my fumbling fingers mucking up the works); if I had to try to explain the sensation, it would be one similar to the height (or lack of) of the chair: I feel as if this seat is too soft and is not going to support me for very long. I honestly wonder how long it will take before this piece of furniture loses its pneumatic capability... before the end of the summer?

Horrific packaging; very good chair.
I have never received a more poorly packaged item in all my time ordering from Amazon. Everything was thrown in the box and rattling around; for that reason, the box had holes all over it with metal pieces sticking out. It is hard to do this packing job justice; I should have taken pictures.Still, four stars. The chair is sturdy, has plentiful adjustments to get it just right, was easy to put together. It is quiet and rolls easily. The lumbar support is quite good. We shall see if it lasts, but it is comfortable for hours right now.

very flexible and cool.
On arrival, I noted there were no instructions. Therefore, you must have some mental and deductive skills! I had no problem. Items were labeled (like Left, Right, etc.). If you have problem reasoning, you might need another cortex to help out.I liked that the chair was light and had all the adjustments that I mandated for my purchase criteria. I've been using it for a while. Here are my assessments on its use: Like the adj. armrests. The cool back will be great in the summer - is chilly in the winter, though. The seat bottom is a bit less cushy than I would like. I had my wife sew up a pad that remedied this. A tad more back rake would be nice, but is not a deal-breaker. I miss the high back to rest my head when lounging, but I knew this was a compromise at the start. The most critical thing is the pan rake (the rock of the seat) can be adjusted. I am generally delighted with the unit. I think it's a good value, having purchased several office chairs.Update: 7/18. Still delighted. Deltas from the above info. The back tilt is fine, it is the pan and back tilt as a pair that would be nice to go back just a tad further. Is still withing acceptable limits. One bugger is the chair back height adjustments. There is a knob that loosens the securing tab locking the vertical adj. Well, the knob does a terrible job and the back slides downward after a while and I have to loosen the knob and pull the back back up. Considering all, this is a nit and I would still buy it again!
