We repaired our Samsung front load washer WF419AAW/XAA which had the loud clanking sound develop during spinning after 13 years of heavy use with a young family of five - we never overloaded our washer and always used high quality detergents.Items included in kit: the spider arm, the little rubber o-ring that goes on the spider arm shaft (below the METAL ring/thin washer that sits on the bearing - save the original!!), the six bolts with threadlock to secure the spider arm to the steel drum and the tub gasket that goes between the two tub halves. Items came extremely well packaged and were in pristine condition and seems to be well made.We had everything disassembled already so once we got the kit, we got our washer back up and running within an hour. And it runs like new! A lot of busywork and a couple of times requiring heavy lifting (taking tub assembly off the springs and putting it back on) but with two people, not too difficult. Watch the YouTube videos out there multiple times to make sure you go step by step and don’t forget a hose/bolt or to put threadlocker (loctite blue - order a small tube of you don’t have it) on your bolts. Taking apart took about two hours (again with help from second person for heavy lifting) since we had never done this before. Having all tools handy helped big time as well - again, watch the video, gather ALL required tools (screwdriver, sockets and wrench, threadlock, rags, WORK GLOVES!) and necessary parts. I cut my finger notnusimg work gloves - if there is one tip you take from this review - do NOT work on this without work gloves as there are plenty of opportunities to cut yourself on sharp edges.The only thing missing from this kit was the center tub seal that goes in the back tub above the bearings - YOU MUST REPLACE THIS! My bearings were perfect so I didn’t need to replace them and my seal would likely have been fine. However, to be this deep into the repair and not replace the seal would be silly.There’s a kit out there with the seal and two bearings for less than $25.00 that I recommend but I really wish the seal was included in this kit - would have been worth the extra $5-$7. Replacing the bearings doesn’t seem difficult but we had shut off the washer the moment we heard the sound so we knew the tub/bearings were still in good shape. As others have mentioned, tearing the washer apart, another few bucks and replacing the bearings is likely the best route to take but we decided against the bearing replacement because the originals were flawless - turned smoothly and perfectly.Ran a couple of test rinse and spin and spin only cycles and the washer ran like it did on first day we got it. Smooth as silk, no strange noises and no leaks.The large tub gasket that seals the two halves together - when we first installed it, it was a bit too long. We started over and went slowly around the round part of the tub leaving the little “handle” area of the tub for last. Low and behold, the gasket was stretched over the last part and fit perfectly. Take your time and the gasket will work - don’t stretch it while installing in the beginning.That’s it. Total work time was about 3 hours (with help). That doesn’t include the hour of watching the YouTube videos over and over again to make sure we got this right. Final tip, remove all the weights from the tub as well as the stator - this will greatly reduce the heavy lifting.Good luck!

DON'T THINK THAT YOU CAN JUST BUY BEARINGS AND SEALS.......BOLTING DIFFERENT TYPES OF METAL TOGETHER AT THE FACTORY HAS USUALLY EATEN UP YOUR FLANGE.There are all kinds of write-ups on the internet explaining the reasons so I'll only share my experience with this part for my Samsung Front Loader.Once I had researched the correct part number and ordered the parts, the actual work time was about 5 hours to disassemble/reassemble the washer. There are excellent YouTubes on the steps.These parts fit perfectly for a bolt-in after cleaning out the corroded parts.This job required.....moderate tool access......ability to follow steps .......and lift heavy parts out and back into the washer chassis. FYI....The factory bearings were only sealed on one side so once water got past the shaft rubber seal and to the back of the bearing it was easy for it to destroy the front bearing. Use fully sealed, name brand, bearings.

Anyone with moderate mechanical skills can do this repair. This fit my Samsung WF330ANW/XAA perfectly and saved me a fortune! I was about to buy a new washing machine when I decided to take 10 minutes and google the symptoms my washer was having. I can’t speak to longevity yet but I can say perfect fit and seems very well manufactured. I strongly suggest doing the bearing and bearing seal while you have it apart!!
