eeBooLion in My Way Game, A Game of Imaginative Problem Solving, Educational Games That Cultivates Conversation, Socialization, and Skill-Building, Perfect for Ages 5 and up

The game encourages creative solutions and reinforces plot development. We can follow the rules as written, or make up our own according to the age of people present. We can play competitively or all on the same team to get over the challenges. With a 4yo and a 7yo and a grandma, we each get a background picture and as many object cards as I choose. We put the background cards in an order that we decide together with the Lion at the end. And off we go to "make our adventure." I think as they grow, our rules will change.I bought it to challenge the kids to cooperate instead of compete. And it works!! They keep asking for it and they play without fighting or whining, or being bossy. (Big plus for Grandma.) I wish we had it when my boys were young.

My daughter likes playing this game because she can use her imagination to come up with outlandish story scenarios for employing various items to get around obstacles. We interpreted the rules fairly loosely, but it is a good way for parents who struggle with playing pretend to still engage imaginatively with children.

It’s such a fun educational tool to assess a child’s reasoning skills; the kids love it! But it’s similar to apples to apples in the aspect that you can only play it so many times, before you figured out the game and what cards work best for each obstacle. All that said, I would still buy it again. My three year old is on a kindergarten level; so it’s one of his favorite games. I actually bought it for the five year old. But, the 3 year old plays it more. It’s interesting listening to their creative solutions to the barriers in the way.

I use this game in speech therapy and my elementary aged students absolutely love playing this game. I love eeboo games - great for work and families.
