Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula Natural Adult Dry Dog Food, Chicken and Brown Rice 6-lb

I had my 10lb chihuahua on Hills Science Diet Lamb and Rice and a vitamin supplement. She would not eat all her food or even not at all. Her coat would be drab and she itched all the time from dry skin even after adding vitamin supplements. I decided to try Blue Buffalo Chicken and Rice. Not only was it the same cost as I was paying for Hills it weighed a pound more. My dog absolutely loves it. Plus, I do not have to give her whole cup of food and baked chicken to fill her up when she would even eat the dry food. She always managed to eat the baked chicken though.I now give her the recommended amount of 1/4-1cup. I give her 1/4 dry and mix some baked chicken with the Blue Buffalo and she eats all of it up all of the time. No left overs. Her coat and skin is not as dry like before and I was able to stop adding vitamin supplements saving me money. My dog was transformed within 3 weeks to 1 month. I highly recommend this product.

Opened the bag & moths flew out Purchased in July & Opened in Sept. Upon inspection eggs & nest in the food.

This stuff is great. I was not one to purchase expensive dog food, but our dog was having a lot of skin issues. Very dry skin that would lead to constant scratching and creating sore spots. I thought it was relative to seasonal allergies and irritants outside. My mom read an article about certain brands of food causing skin irritation in dogs. I was using one of the brands listed. I decided to switch. This food had really great reviews so I decided to try it. I can honestly say our dog’s fur has not looked better. It is very shiny and very soft. She no longer has any skin issues. Now that I have seen the difference I will not go back to cheap dog food.

Decent enough dog food, but our dogs wouldn't eat it. It seems like good ingredients, but our dogs are just picky. So we were forced to try something else.

My dog was a little picky in what she ate. I wanted to stay with dry foods. I was surprised and pleased at how well she eats this. I did not do a slow taper/titrations but my mini-Aussie had no sign of digestive troubles.I think it is a little pricey but in the big scheme of the price of owning a dog, food cost is a relatively small item.

I have a Malshi who is 11 years old. Was told to try a healthier dog food because of skin issues. She is picky and wasn't a big fan of dry dog food until this brand. I gave 5 stars for the flavor because she likes it but I have not tried myself. :)

Definitely the best in the market. A friend at work recommended it to me. My dog loves it and need not even require a lot of time to adjust to it. I fed a third of a cup to him every meal for just a week. Slight change in poop but nothing bad. He loves it and always looks forward to his every meal! I love the smell too!

My 11 yr old pit bull has always been a picky eater, even as a puppy. He absolutely loves Blue Buffalo "Senior" food. We have tried several other name brands which he snubbed and would only eat it I added "real" food bits. From day 1 with Blue he starts eating before I've filled the bowl. We will be buying only Blue Buffalo from now on!
