It makes an unsettling whiney noise against my teeth. I believe this is normal? At any rate, i was surprised to see how much tartar had built up under my gum line and it all came right off with ease. No scraping! No dental insurance so I will be employing this tool every few months. Recommend.

Doesn’t work
I purchased this thing for my old dog. She has very thick plaque on her teeth and is too old for anesthesia. It had zero effect on the plaque. Nothing! I did use the metal tools included to remove some of her tooth plaque. So my advice would be to just buy the metal dental tool and forget the electronic bit.

When you looking for a plaque removal tool
On my teeth it hasn't removed the plaque. It's too bad it doesn't have some type of a water source to help loosen the plaque.

Goodbye Plaque!
Holy moly! I was hesitant to try one of these but had a lot of tartar build up and have had trouble getting a dentist appt. I figured in the meantime I'd try and do a bit of cleaning myself and gave this a whirl. Totally grossed myself out. 😵💫 But is now my favorite deep cleaning tool when I notice plaque starting to build up in those unbrushable areas.
