Not sure how big your bambi is, but this could be a dad deer. Fairly big and majestic. Very nice quality.

Q: Is the deer as pictured? Some of the deer have white chest, I would prefer one with a brown chest, as pictured.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure. I didn't order this particular deer. The one I ordered was a smaller version with a white chest.

Q: does it stand alone and can a child sit on it attended by an adult?

It does stand alone. A child cannot sit on it. It is more to be used as a toy or to be displayed on a shelf. Hope this helps you.

Q: Can its legs bend at all?

It’s legs do not bend. But my grandson adores him. It is very well made, wonderful quality.
