This is great and absorbs all the messes you can imagine happen in an automotive shop! We have also used it in the kitchen at our burger restaurant and it worked well there, too. It's a work horse!

This is great for absorbing liquids in the shop. It's not meant to be walked on, but you can use them where you would normally use paper towels. These just have much more absorption potential. They are super useful for cleaning something with a water based degreaser. They will prevent the solvent from reaching the floor. It's not Pig mat, but based on the price it's more than adequate.

This product does exactly what it says it will do

So what can you say about it? New Pig is the standard by which everything is compared. These are extremely fragile as they tear apart off the roll like single ply toilet paper. However, wiping a mess down there would be akin to thinking these actually will do the job. I figured I would try a bit cheaper, but these are not the answer, even for the price. to the price. They are 2/3 the price, but the aggravation level is serious when you start to pick up the soaked product. Let's just say, use a shovel. They just crumble. I can see someone in their home garage using these to wipe up messes, put down for oil changes or gasket replacements, but in a shop setting, they just don't make the grade, even for the price. I will not buy again, and have already ordered New Pig to replace these. Hope this helps!

Much cheaper than PigMatt and works the same

I would not rate this a heavy weight but a medium weight. It absorbs very well and quickly, but is not meant to be walked-on as it will tear easily. If you require something for foot traffic do not use this product. However for a reasonably priced quick absorbent this product works well.
