US nutrition label is stuck over instructions
Please read my warning at the end before purchasing.Instructions-The label required for import covers the instructions, but I got the label off and ran Translate on it. I've uploaded those pictures along with the different flavors labels translated. It tastes great. It was very fun to try and I can see having a partial packet along with green tea again. Why a partial packet?Because the sodium in one packet is equal to the FDA recommendation of a maximum of 2,300mg for THE WHOLE DAY, except one flavor which still comes very close. This is not a food to eat frequently, or ever if sodium makes you retain water badly.I am not overly concerned about only having 2,300 mg sodium, but this product is just an insane amount. In the future I may use only 1/3 of a packet with rice and top it off with green tea instead of water. The packet has tea in it, so usually you don't have to add green tea, but I can't imagine taking a whole packet again. Ochazuke is at it's base is cooked rice with Japanese tea on it.

The same through the years
Has maintained the same flavors for years. Reminds me my childhood. When I'm sick, I like to eat a hot rice with water and add the ochazuke. I encourage you to try it. The umeboshi (pickled plum flavor) is kind of particular flavor, just a bit of sour, maybe not for everyone; but I love it.

Lots of umami in a bag!
Our family loves Nagatanien ochazuke and this huge bag is such a great deal. The packets used to always be readily available in Hawaii, but lately has been a challenge to find. Decided to turn to Amazon and was happy to find this amazing deal on a huge bag for a reasonable price! The assortment contains original, ume and salmon. I keep most of it in the freezer and take several out as needed. We use this over rice with hot water or in a mug to drink a highly seasoned tea. Such a rich flavor of Japan, anytime! Highly recommended!

Doesn't get any better than this, great taste and greater memories
These are the real deal and at a great price. No different than the smaller packages I use to buy at the Asian grocery stores other than these have small round baked rice balls rather than the long baked rice sticks. Other than this minor difference, it's the same great taste.I'm now placing another order in today.I grew up eating ochazuke as a quick light meal. My dear mom would get us a hot bowl of steaming white rice, sprinkle a pack of Nagatanien ochazuke on it then pour piping hot green tea instead of water over it. She would often also add pieces of broiled salmon and/or some slices shinko (Japanese picked radish) for a little more flavor and nutrition. She's with the Lord now but every time I have a bowl it brings back such wonderful memories of her. Who would have every though a small package of seasoning would bring back such huge blessings?

Love Me Some Ochazuke
This takes me back to my childhood in the 70’s. My mother would buy these from Haruko’s Oriental store (no longer there) whenever she went shopping for Japanese food/groceries. I love this very simple to make snack or meal because it’s delicious and reminds me of the Japanese food I grew up on. This variety pack is a good buy and will be a great way of introducing some of my childhood to my own children. I will definitely be ordering this on the regular.

I'm happy. :)
Received mine today and I must say that I love Japanese packaging. When I'm around it I feel like I'm in some kind of hip indie movie or something, so that was fun. Box came from Japan, without ceremony, and took maybe 12 days. I did ask about it once, just to be sure, and vendor was prompt to reply, reassuringly, that I wasn't forgotten. I chose this because this was the best price on Amazon and because it was a Japanese product. I struggle with appetite so wanted to bring some novelty and variety in my food and this did the job. I am nicely sated. There is no English on the bag or on the individual foil packets so I was left scratching my head as to which was what. I ran over to Q&A and had an answer in 5 minutes! Pink: Salmon. Green: Nori seaweed. Orange: That Plum of theirs. I had some on my already cooked sticky rice, as-is, and enjoyed myself thoroughly. I can see getting 4 bowls of rice out of one packet, but I don't know what is recommended. I know you can put this for 'soupy' rice. I tried the plum tonight and it has a little bit of heat here and there and I like that; then some teeny strips of green, and something crunchy. I want to yank this out on the fam and be heralded as some genius in the kitchen. I am no chef or serious foodie. This has MSG but I'm not vibrating or anything. I think as Americans we're just not used to it. I personally don't think the stuff is harmful. Anyway, I'm going to surf around on the web and find out what else I can do with it. Loss of one point for price. I'm sure I can find this cheaper in an Asian shop now that I know what I'm looking for. Oh, and I'll use this on soba noodles too. (see comments for directions on bag.)

It's very tasty and enough to fill me up to get me through the morning until lunch time. You get 50 individual packets of Nori Chazuke×24, Sake Chazuke×16, Umeboshi Chazuke×10. You just sprinkle it on top of your cooked rice (I use japanese sushi rice), add hot water or japanese green tea and enjoy. I had previously ordered a 6 pack from another seller but that went quickly so I was happy to see that this 50 pack was available on Amazon. Now I have a variety to choose from and it makes a nice comfort meal or snack. :)UPDATE 10/27/16: My second order arrived today. :D Thank you so much to the seller and Amazon for having this available.UPDATE 03/06/17: My third order arrived today.
