A great book for horse lovers and wildlife enthusiasts
Lots of good information here. The graphic novel format makes it very compelling and entertaining.

My daughter loves to read now!
My 9 yo daughter loves these books. She used to hate reading. Now we're ordering almost the whole series of history and science comics!

Super-funny, gorgeous, and secretly educational!
I don't care a fig about horses, but I LOVE this book!So engaging. So funny. So beautiful. So dense with information that I didn't know I wanted to know. And most importantly... SO MUCH FUN! Duffy and Koch make a phenomenal team, and I can't wait to see what other aspect of history that I think I don't care about they will make me care about deeply. Two hilarious goofballs are your guide characters, asking all the questions YOU would ask, if you had an honest-to-god talking mustang on hand to provide the answers. It's way more engaging and interesting than having it all handed down on stone tablets by an all-knowing, invisible author who doesn't know or care what you think, or HOW you think. Comics are the greatest medium EVER! It's hard for me to imagine a better way to introduce ANY topic of study, for people of ANY age.Doubleplus kudos for introducing--and deftly handling--uncomfortable issues around animal cruelty and the Native American experience.

Good book but pushing an agenda
It's a good book interesting, but don't like when a book becomes an activist for something when there is probably another side of the laws... and when I feel the book is trying to push one agenda, it loose the trust of people
