adhesive and magnet are both working for me.
used this to hold a padded leather panel onto the side of a bed that i made. the adhesive is sticking to the cloth backing very well and the magnet is holding it up. I thought it would be wider, but it’s not that big of a deal. Very easy to just cut and stick. You get a pretty decent size roll for just a few bucks. I plan to use the rest of the roll to make fridge magnets

Computer Privacy Screen
I got a new computer and forgot to get the magnets off for my new computer. Used this tape to put on the top of my new computer (cutting in half) and existing magnetic privacy screen on new computer. Spent a few dollars on this v. buying a new screen for $20+.

Adhesive doesn't stick; magnet doesn't stick; totally pointless
This doesn't stick to anything. I mean the adhersion is so bad, I'm shocked it sticks to the earth. My goal was to make an urban sketching board with this, attaching magnetic strips to hold the metal paint pans and then strips to the board and to the sketchbook to attach them. That would make the entire kit substantially more portable, even for working while standing. For that purpose, this was an absolute failure. The tape peals up instantly. It's pealed up on the roll and no better applied to wood or cardboard. That alone I could have worked around. I could use bookbinding glue instead, and the brand I have would have held, no issue. The magnets don't stick to each other. They barely stick to metal pans, not enough to hold them, just enough to kind of hint that magnetism is in play here, kind of sort of. on a lark, I tried sticking them to the refrigerator. They just slid down. I tried the underside of metal easel, where I keep my hidden stash of disk magnets. The disk magnets have stayed there for years. This didn't last an entire second.I was able to get it to breifly hold a straight pin suspended in mid-air, but not for very long.Try something else, anything else. There is no option worse than this.

This Magnetic Tape does not have strong magnetic adhesion
I purchased this to use along the bottom of my minivan window frame when I have the stretchable fine mesh window screens on as the window screen tended to want to stretch up and leave a gap along the bottom. This magnetic tape doesn't have a strong enough magnetic pull so I will have to purchase stronger individual magnets . For me this was a waste of money because I had to cut a section to try on the window. I also didn't need the adhesive backing as the screen fabric being such an open weave and stretchy doesn't lend itself well to an adesive surface. I tried sticking it to the back of the tape before putting it away. My guess is I may have to repurchase the screens and good magnets and for me the whole process was a failure. I gave three stars because for SOME applications this might be good. Just know it isn't a very strong magnetic pull once it is unrolled and flattened out .

Works great!
Works great but being in a wrapped circle for so long, I had to hold the magnet down to get it not to pop back up right away from not being straight.

You will probably need some Gorilla Glue
Yes, this is a bargain compared to Scotch Magnetic Tape, but you will need Gorilla Glue to keep the tape from separating from anything but a small, lightweight item. So, adding the glue to the price of the tape and the extra time/effort isn't a bargain any longer.
