LiquitexLIQ INK 150ML JAR PEN CLEANER

I'm really enjoying painting with the Liquitex Professional Acrylic Inks. They're wonderfully vibrant and because they are very slightly less flow-able than liquid water colours, I find them marginally better to work with as they're easier to control on the page. Just be sure to clean your brushes thoroughly after use to prevent them going stiff. I've attached a scanned custom colour chart so you can see what they look like on standard water colour paper.

Zunächst einmal bin ich Miniatur Maler und werde meine Rezession auch NUR zu dieser Anwendung schreiben.Ich habe die Tinte vor ca einem Jahr gekauft , da ich hörte Acryl Tinten seien in Ihrer Deckkraft halbdurchsichtig und erst nach mehreren dünnen schichten komplett deckend , was mir zum setzen von Highlights und Blends sehr zu Gute kommt.Die Tinte war recht Günstig , auch im Nachhinein , da ich nach einem Jahr erst ca 14ml der Farbe verbraucht habe und die Lieferung war mit Prime bereits am nächsten Tag da.Nun erstmal zu den allgemeinen Eigenschaften der Tinte:>Sie ich halb luzid in dünnen Schichten wird aber schnell opak je mehr Schichten man appliziert.>Kurze Trockenzeit wie bei allen Acrylfarben auf Wasserbasis.>Es ist eine Acrylfarbe auf Wasserbasis (wie im oberen Punkt bereits angeprochen).>Die Tinte ist matt deckend.>Lässt sich mit Wasser und mit Acrylmedien verdünnen.Positive Eigenschaften:+Sehr gute Pigmentdichte.+Lässt sich sehr gut mit anderen Acrylfarben mischen oder als Verdünnungsmedium für Weiße Farben nutzen.+Einfach mit Pinsel oder Airbrush nutzbar und bedarf in den meisten fällen keiner Verdünnung , ist jedoch trotzdem empfohlen.+Guter Preis für viel Farbe.+Wiederverwendbarer Behälter (Glas Phiole mit Pipettendeckel mit Gewinde).Negative Eigenschaften:-Muss unbedingt mit einem Varnishmedium gemischt oder nachher mit einem Varnisch besprüht werden , da die trockene Tinte bei Berührung abblättert!-Pigmente und Medium trennen sich bereits nach wenigen Stunden voneinander und setzen sich ab.-Da die Tinte vor Gebrauch geschüttelt werden MUSS ist es schade das sie wie Seifenlauge schäumt und somit schwerer mit dem Pinsel zu benutzen wird.Mein Fazit:Die Acryltinte Titanium White von Liquitex ist in den meisten meiner Anwendungen gut gewesen , erzeugt aber durch ihre fragile Art , zusätzliche unangenehme Umstände um sie Stabiler zu machen.Nichtsdestotrotz ist die Tinte einfach zu benutzen und dazu noch ein kleines "Pigmentwunder".Für die Menge an Farbe die man erhält ist der Preis gerechtfertigt und die Qualität ist auch gut.Wer als Miniatur Maler keine teuren Ölfarben Kaufen will , kann mit den Acryltinten von Liquitex nichts falsch machen und ich Empfehle das Produkt , weise allerdings nochmal auf die von Mir genannten Negativaspekte hin!

Heard so many good things, but it seems white is the unlucky color (other people also had this issue as it seems). As it doesn't require thinning after a good shake I've added couple drops to the airbrush cup and looked terrified as it left chunks on the walls when flowing down. Those bits looked like tiny white sand grains, they do dissolve easily but that was already too late to prevent a clog, which happened almost instantly.I had to decant entire bottle, give it a really, really long mixing - and clean/dry the bottle and the dropper.It is usable now, but not sure for how long as the medium may be too far gone, only time will tell.Very, very disappointing.

I'm a bit of a sucker for metallic paint in general, but this looks like liquid gold. I wanted a rich, big flow paint to use for metalic accents on my artwork and my other paints and inks, as pretty as they are were not creating that strong line and gold effect that I was going for. The pipette/ dropper makes it much easier to put your paint out without it going everywhere, or wasting a lot by putting out too much at a time. I love these paints and have a few colours in this liquitex range. The colour is highly pigmented and it can be used straight from the bottle, watered down to use more like an ink or watercolour and are great to be used with pouring medium to create pour paintings.

Using this as whiteout with various black inks I was disappointed that this wasn't as opaque as I hoped, when compared to the Kuretake white ink 30 or a Signo white gel pen. (See Photo) But it does have some advantages.Firstly it doesn't disturb and muddy inks like the Kuretake Sumi 60 which doesn't seem to like anything containing alcohol. Secondly, and the best reason to get this, is that you can go back in after this has dried and draw back over it easily with most inks. This isnt advisable with the more opaque 30 or gel pen as they tend to break up. It does seem faster drying than paint pens too, was easy to control with a brush and was relatively cheap.I wouldn't be without any of my whiteout armoury as they are all useful for different stages of a work and being used in different amounts. Don't use this with a expensive sable brush though as it will ruin it quickly. I also recommend putting out a small amount into a separate container - I use buddy cups secured onto lids with double sided tape - to avoid any risk of contaminating the bottle.
