First impressions after a few rides.Bought the 50mm deep, 25mm outer.Great wheels. Excellent value. I went for the Elitewheels because their website shows they have a max rider+gear weight of 130kgs - I'm well under this but wanted something that was potentially tested to greater strength.They happen to be the same weight limit as my Fulcrum wheels. Hmm.After riding for a few hours; they feel great. Not the lightest wheels on the market, but solid feeling. Time will tell how the hubs last, but these wheels don't appear to have any proprietary parts - if I need to rebuild them one day in the future it should not be a problem.I mounted these on my Neo-Retro steel frame bike, the alloy quick release end caps slipped a little against the chrome steel dropouts of the frame, but this was happening with my previous wheels. I used a chain tensioner and all is good.On this morning's ride I hit a downhill speed of 67km/h, and tried a few flat sections of rolling through at 55km/h - the wheels felt great.I can see that after a few more rides I'll probably have to touch up a few of the spoke tensions, but nothing significant - certainly no more than my other "brand name" wheels.Totally would purchase again.

These wheels are the perfect upgrade to spice up my 15 year old Scott. Side my side with my much more expensive Reynolds wheels, I can’t tell any difference in appearance or quality. I can’t offer an opinion on durability yet, but the first few rides show these wheels feel great, look great, and sound great!

The "importing" of the item from China was a bit of a hassle. That was before the Trump sideshow with Chinese imports. Product is of good quality and value. Very happy so far.

VERY impressive! Outwardly as nice as any carbon wheels I’ve ever seen. Replaced worn Reynolds aluminum set w these. Came beautifully packed with everything needed to mount tubes. Came w rim tape for tubeless but no stems. Super nice. Really excited to ride them. Paired with RXL carbon aero bars! Lost almost one kilo total weight.

I bought these as an emergency before a race as my wheel broke a few days before flying out. They arrive very soon after which was great but it was so hard to put the tires on. Therefore I kept on having punctures from prying so hard on the tires to install them, and therefore had to put the tire in and out even more often.The other issue was that I raced in cold rain in the mountains and the brakes did not feel safe at all. Worked great in dry conditions, however.Otherwise the ride was super smooth, the bearing felt really nice and the look was slick.

The wheel set arrived very quickly once shipped and in perfect condition. After purchase but before arrival I had a few questions and those were answered quickly. Spinning them up while on my bike stand there is no wobble from either wheel that I can detect, the spokes are all equally tensioned as well.Anyone in the market for a set of carbon wheels should put EliteWheels at the top of their list.I fitted these with new Continental tubes with 60mm stems and Gatorskin Special Black 28mm tires. This setup knocked 2 pounds 7oz off my previous setup.

I ordered these twice. First set came in a box that appeared to be roughed up and the rear wheel was unacceptably out of true (couldn't even spin it in the frame due to brake rub). Front wheel was pretty bad too. Tossed this up to mishandled shipping so I returned them and put another order in action.Second set came much better- but still not what I'd expect (true wise) from a brand new set of wheels. I have a truing stand so I spent a little time truing them up from the condition they were delivered in. Despite that, I'm happy with them. I've put about 200 miles on them so far and they are doing fine.Side note-I've had issues mounting and removing continental gp 5000s before on carbon wheelsets, but these were hands down the easiest to mount gp 5000s on.If you are newer to mounting carbon wheels, be sure to have the wheel sitting in the groove in the middle of the wheelset as you go around, it gives you the extra space to make the final mount much easier (still have to put effort out).
