Original S.W.A.T. Classic 9" Side Zip - Boots for Men - Soft Toe Construction - Padded Tongue & Collar

If these hold up well they most definitely won't be the last. I like em...they are light, the fit is right, they have good support and seem to be well cushioned. There's nothing cheap about these boots as far as I can tell, they seem to be sturdy and the zipper looks strong not wimpy. EDIT--- I've had them for 4 months now and they hold up well. They aren't an athletic boot, but have a sturdy work fit and feel about them. The one thing I dislike about these and all the light tan boots is that they are impossible to keep clean and after awhile that nice buff color washes off the toe area after the 3rd or 4th cleaning... and as far as I know no one sells the same color dye to touch them up with.

This was my second pair and they are no were near as comfy as the first pair I got 10 years ago. The stitches were breaking 2 weeks in and I would only walk around in them. Just spend a little more on a more reliable brand. Still wish I did cause this brand went down hill after my first pair.

Wrong size. Neeeded a 9.5 wide, have had other pair and they wee a good work boot, steel toed, maybe next time.

Great boots, very comfortable, very pleased with them. Since I just received them I do not know how the wear factor will be however this far I am very pleased.

I have owned these boots for a couple of months now. They are really great. I purchased these boots because they one of the few manufacturers that still actually sew in the heel and toe of the sole. I'm pretty hard on boots. I work in the construction industry, but I like to dress business casual. I wear Khakis and a polo every day and wanted some suede boots to go with my Khakis. They look professional and are super comfortable once they are broke in. It took me about a week to get them nice and flexible. Size wise they run big. I normally wear a 10 1/2 in Nike and a 10 in Reebok. I ordered a 9-1/2. They fit about right. Maybe still just a tad loose, but good socks fixed that. They are holding up well.UP-DATE 5/8/2014I have had these boots for 6 months now. The over all wear isn't bad, but I've got to buy a new pair of boots already. At the bend of the toe on the side of one of the boots the leather has worn through in a penny size hole. The hole is not due to friction or rub of any kind. It formed simply from movement of my foot bending the boot as I walk. Basically the split leather used to make the boot is very thin in some places. I would expect this from a $40 pair of boots, but not $89.00 boots. I'm a little disappointed. Could be a bad run or something. Over all I love the feel and fit of the boots, which is why I'm leaving 3 stars. I cannot, however, spend $89.00 every 6 months. I'll be trying another brand next time around.
