It is not Thayer's but they work
Like many others, I have used Thayer's for decades as I have allergies and live in a dry climate. Can't believe L'Oreal bought and just discontinued since their line is makeup and not lozenges. Fine, I get that, why not sell the lozenges to a manufacturer who would continue production----arrrggghhhh!!! Big corporations just are clueless. Anyway, these lozenges work almost as well as Thayers. There is no option for cherry flavor-just the standard slippery elm flavor which is a bit 'earthy.' Taste is tolerable. I find it takes two of these lozenges to one of the Thayers as these lozenges are smaller. I am comfortable with the cost and keep a bottle at home and a bottle at work. You should be satisfied with this product.

So effective at getting rid of that throat tickle and irritation
I used to use slippery elm lozenges by Thayer. Can't find them anymore without paying a HUGE price on Ebay. So I ordered these. They don't taste as nice. They don't come in a cute tin container. But they work just as well. Stops the cough before it starts. Soothing for a sore throat from a cold.

It isn’t quite Thayers
I was very disappointed to find that Thayers Slippery Elm losenges are no longer produced or available. As a singer, and a frequent one especially during Christmas season, Thayers was my go-to product for soothing my throat. When another member of my quartet was struggling with frequent singing, I wanted to find her some Thayers. This product is a smaller, harder losenge, is a lot more expensive (of course, I guess - I bought my Thayers years ago), and comes in lesser quantities per bottle (Thayers, 150 count, and this, 100 count) but I bought a few bottles so I could give her one. It’s close, perhaps, but not the tried and true Thayers, which as you see was “prized by opera singers”!

Sweet, sugary, doesn't dissolve in your mouth.
Wasted my money. I was raised on Thayers slipper Elm Lozenges, and since they are no longer made, I tried these. The are super sweet, with no taste of slippery elm, and they are hard, they do not dissolve on your tongue, and coat your throat, you have to crunch them. They had no benefits of slippery elm. We use it for both humans, and pets, to coat and sooth from mouth, through GI tract.Do not waste your money, buy the organic powder now, or capsules you can open, that are not full of fructose and stevia, and other gunk.
