Although the roll wasn’t as large as I thought. Used hot-glue gun to piece together cut-to-fit pieces for an iron planter. Worked well. Best value!

Squirrels had stripped the top 3-5" of peat from my 20" hanging basket and I wanted to get it set for another season. But a peat basket of that size is expensive as heck. This was a very cost-effective alternative. I cut this mat in half lengthwise, lifted the remaining old peat basket up and pushed 6" of this around the outer upper edges as shown in the pictures. It came out great and I'm very satisfied. There was 6-10" of extra that I overlapped, so there's plenty of extra for larger baskets using a similar technique.The coco fiber is held together with a very light wax of some sort. This helps hold its shape and probably delays decomposition. The mat is maybe 1/2-3/4" thick--plenty thick for most uses and fairly sturdy due to the wax film. I'd definitely recommend this for others.

Some of my hanging baskets have a coconut inner layer. They had gotten thin in places. This was more reasonable & thicker than buying new basket liners. It's coconut fiber. Cut outside, if possible, the fiber gets everywhere. Worked well for my project.

Small. I couldn't even cover the bottom of both of my planters!!

I was surprised how small the roll was. It barely made coverage for a large basket. It's also extremely thin. Won't buy this again. Keep searching Amazon for a much better deal and more coco fiber.

I like using this coco fiber and the ease of cutting it to add to my large “living rock” and adding succulent carpet and cuttings!

We use this for our tortoise. This is a sturdy woven mat. Tortoises have sharp toenails and like to dig. This mat holds up. Great price too.
