The Usborne Book of Greek and Norse Legends Paperback – January 1, 1992

I had this book as a kid and loved it then; now that I have a kid of my own and am working on building his library, I knew I had to find a copy of this for him. This book is extremely readable and packed with information on all the classic myths (for any parents out there who are familiar with some of these myths, don't worry, they gloss over some of the more explicit details of ancient Greek relationships, so there's nothing in there that is inappropriate for children). My husband is an RPG gamer and picked this up when it arrived and flipped through it, then sat down and read the whole thing and now wants to know why I didn't get a copy for HIM before now.

I remember reading this book in elementary school...I couldn't remember what it was called, only that I had checked it out a million times from the school library as a child and that it had the minotaur on the front. The art is just fantastic and there's quite a few stories to keep you entertained.

I had been looking for this book since highschool and I never thought I would find it. I love the pictures the detail of the stories,its a really nice book I am soo glad I found it.

I love the illustrations! Thought I'd never be able to get another copy after I gave mine to a grandson. This second copy is in almost perfect shape!

This is one of my son's favorite books. It is always hard to find, when I do find one. He loves it for so many reasons. I reads so many Mythology books and he really loves this one.I would refer this one to a friend.

Great book

Any person who loves myths and legends should get this book. It contains wonderful pictures and stories. I've read them over and over. The pictures are one of my favorite things in the book. My younger sister just sits there and looks at them forever. It tells about how the Greeks and Norse believed there was a bunch of different worlds and maps them out for you.
