Did not clean a layer of wax observed by audiologist

If you clean your ears twice a week or more, this product is worthless. You would need real wax build-up for it to be even a little effective. As a test, I waited 3 days before cleaning my ears, then used the Q-Grips Earwax Remover, and removed a very minimal amount of ear wax. I then imediately used a cotton swap and removed at least 3 times the amount of dirt and earwax! The Q-Grips Earwax Remover is just too big for my grown-up ear. You would need to have a very large ear canal for it to be any real use.

Just opened this gadget. Looks like a sunglass case. Upon first use it felt like I was doing something but there wasn't any "evidence". Ears do feel clean though so we'll see. You clean the little buds with water for the instructions I guess. I don't know why I thought that was kind of strange that they didn't say to use soap, but I guess you don't need that for ear wax? Anyway, we'll see if this prevents me from going back to single use q-tips.

The product appears well made and is very nicely packaged. However, after trying it on 3 separate occasions weeks apart, neither my husband nor I had any wax come out. We watched videos & instructions. My husband has large chunks come out with Q-Tips at especially after doing a sauna or a long swim, so he does produce a lot. For those with itchy ears, you may like the separate brush. But, for us it just doesn't help anything, so we are returning it.

I would purchase again with confidence.
