Fixed my leak
This fit perfectly and fixed my leak. The nut that came with it was too large so I reused the old one. Thanks for people’s comments about how to reverse it so that it can be used for the hot side. I have now ordered another to do the hot cartridge. I ordered silicone grease for the large o-ring. This cartridge seals great and the handle turns effortlessly.

Speed and price of parts was superlative
I was super appreciative of the seller and Amazon for getting this to us in a day. Local Home Depot and Lowe’s- not in stock and about 3-4 days to order. It was great to get the sink fixed. As far as American Standard goes with their speed connect system, I think I’d rather have the old fashioned metal arm mechanism rather than very fragile and small plastic cam and hook design. But that’s not Amazon’s issue.

Need to include instructions!!!
This does work for hot water but you need to take the little O ring off and turn the valve 90 degrees and then put the ring back on to make it work for hot water.. read all the reviews to see the same complaint!

Perfect replacement for my American Standard Edgemere faucet
It took me a bit of time to find the correct replacement cartridge for my Edgemere faucet. None of the big box hardware stores had it, they only showed a cartridge for other AS faucets. Replacement was very easy and quick. When you take the old cartridge out, pay attention to the orientation of the metal piece just under the 0-ring. Align that the same on the replacement and you're good to go.
