Perfect!
This diverter is simple to install. You can use a nickel or quarter to loosen the old diverter and to tighten the new one into place. My old diverter was going, which was evidenced by the sad amount of water coming out of the sprayer. It was becoming more and more problematic because the faucet itself was starting to leak. This piece solved everything, and now dishwashing has returned to normal. Glad this is available on Amazon!!

Not more leak

easy to replace
The American Standard instructions said I only needed to clean out the old diverter to restore sprayer performance. Well, I did that but the spray was still very weak. The diverter looked OK but I took a chance on replacing it. This did the job--sprayer restored.

Bank account saver
Hired a handyman to fix my kitchen sink water pressure. Ended up with crappy water pressure AND a busted faucet right before we were supposed to host Thanksgiving. Purchased this thing and was able to save a $100 on a new faucet and lord knows how much on a plumber. (We figured out the water pressure ourselves.) Five stars.

Not enough threads on body
Only has about 2 rows of threads, whereas my old part had about 5or6 rows of threads. It fits into the receptacle, but it won't tighten up as the threads are too short.

Fits Other Brands
Even though this is American Standard, the dimensions were exactly the same as the diverter for my Peerless kitchen faucet. It works like a charm!

Work good
Works good so far , no complaints. My sink sprayer hose wasn't working right, and sometimes my sink faucet would lose flow/ pressure this fixed it.
