Can this be used indoors?

We would not recommend this for use indoors. Instead we would suggest the 3M Indoor Insulator Film Mounting Tape.

Why would you choose the exterior version over the interior version? Trying to choose between the two.

The name pretty much sums it up. You'd choose the exterior version for exterior use...

What is the difference between the outdoor and indoor ones?

The adhesive tape is designed to be weatherproof.

I am getting the patio door size. How thick is the plastic? Is it 4Mil or 5Mil

The plastic is .75 mil in thickness. It is stated on the box.

Condition was unusable- frustrated!

One out of 2 packages was completely unusable because the plastic was fused together and although we've used these products for years without any problems, these ones keep coming off. The sticky tape condition was compromised. Have had to order more of the window kits (and pay significant shipping) but hope they arrive in better shape or next time we'll try a different product or order from elsewhere.
