For hand-made leather goods, the H+D items are all quite worthy. I make my own hand-made leather goods, but tend to steer toward simpler items that don't involve as much sewing, especially into circular shapes, like this tube. And stitching zippers onto leather is no joke, because you need a really good walking foot sewer that doesn't have any screw-ups or mini complications in the spooling or driving of the thread through the needle (problems I've experienced that ruin your leather). So, I expect H+D maintains their machines well, as I've never gotten something that didn't have perfect stitching in it. This also means they have good staff on hand who know what they're doing.The leather you get is tough, tanned leather, with a raw sueded interior. Good for anything that fits. I wish this came in some other sizes, so I could get a range of them- maybe a few more flat ones, but with the zippers at the edge seams instead of in the middle of the side (see their cord keeper pocket, which I also have). I could see using these in smaller, larger, and flatter or round versions for electronic gear to engineering items and tools. This gear fits all types of users, from "bespoke" executive types, to rugged helicopter-to-truck field types. This gear will last, and look good in doing so.

Awesome product. These leather goods are of very good quality. The leather is thick and supple. I bought 2 items, a coin purse and a pencil keeper. Both items are beautifully made and will last my lifetime. They came beautifully presented inside a canvas bag with a leather purse string. I am using the canvas bags as well for they are also well made, practical and beautiful. I will certainly buy more of their products for myself and to be given as gifts. Give them a try. I don't think you will regret your purchase.

I use this to carry misc stuff in my mountainsmith bag. Zipper is high quality and stitching is strong. It looks and feels awesome. Cannot recommend highly enough. I carry in mine, just for demonstration purposes: Wallet (Mens), Lansky Sharpening Rod, Buck 330 Tri blade, corded headphones, a pen, spare key to office and a few quarters and it still has a nice amount of room in it if I want to add meds, a small penlight, lighter or similar. Great product again!!!

I’m generally very pleased with the quality. Great seller and company. My only complaint is that it would be useful to see the product photographed in relation to a few items one might store in it. I had hoped my son could use it as a pencil case, but it’s shorter than I had expected. It would work well for pens, maybe, or a pair of glasses.

Very nice case! I purchased several Hide & Drink items for my husband this Christmas. I received all of them in excellent condition. This little bag is great for many uses. Small enough to fit in a tote, purse or backpack. I am planing to purchase a couple more of these for myself. I'm planning to store my crochet hooks in them. The leather is beautiful, and the craftsmanship on everything I have gotten from Hide & Drink is superior. Will definitely be ordering again soon. :)

Awesome little bag! A+ for both workmanship and quality of materials. I did put a little leather conditioner on though it didn’t need it. That just made it a little more soft and supple than it already was.I have a few leather items like this from my father and grandfather. I just love them so much! This product is that kind of item. Your grandchildren will find this 40 years later and have something neat from you. And maybe too something neat in the form of a trust. I digress.Why this company doesn’t make jackets and vintage business bags is beyond me. I’ll have to be patient

I purchased these 2 items the same day. They are supposed to be the same color but as you can tell they’re not even close to the same color. Neither arrived in the canvas bags the items usually arrive in and the pencil pouch didn’t come with the H&D maker card, the leather tag as seen on the coin pouch, and the logos are not the same. The quality of the pencil pouch also does not seem nearly as good as the other product. Very dissatisfied with the poor quality for this product and will be returning.

Another great item from hide and seek. Random things you probably didn’t know you needed. More importantly, the quality is always good. Nothing cheap or disposable.
