Star Wars Rebel Pilot Costume Lanyard

My son purchased this for school to hold his I.D. He's been wearing it for a couple weeks now and it seems to be holding up really well. He's pretty hard on his stuff, too. Usually it gets thrown in with his baseball stuff or tossed around at home. The colors are nice and bright and the clasp is sturdy. Great for all those Star Wars fans!

It was so nice someone stole it the first day I left it on my blanket for a day at the park! Of course I had to order another to represent the Rebellion! Some advice the stitching around the breakaway neck clip is very shoddy I’d advise restitching it.

High quality latches and buckles. Color is staying bright. I wear it everyday and love it.

I recently bought five different lanyards with Marvel and Star Wars themes. One of the Star Wars lanyards came in a quality that I would classify as tourist-grade, meaning it was nice like a valued souvenir or something special to wear to comicon. These standard-type lanyards are most suitable for a corporate environment (assuming you remove the medallion keychain things), because these are a material that has a shine similar to a tie or quality suspenders. One other thing you may want to consider is the length. These are mid-length lanyards. A wider and thicker tourist style lanyard is the longest kind, but this style is second longest. In both instances this is because of the feature that allows the badge end to detach from the strap around your neck. There is a third style if you want the shortest lanyard, but you will have to give up the detachable end and the safety feature that lets it pull off your neck so you don't get caught on anything. These are middle-of-the-road regular quality type of lanyard with all standard features and nothing more or less.

The metal clip broke after only a couple of weeks of use, with just a few keys. Which sucks, because it's a lovely lanyard for a star wars geek like me. But the metal just snapped in half while I was simply walked outside, despite it not having caught on anything. I hope to be able to salvage it by sewing the lanyard strap onto a proper keychain.
