This rat zapper does not work anymore. Every time I turn it on it just keeps buzzing for few minutes and then lights keeps blinking, any suggestions?

I found that when I was using rechargeable batteries and they get low on power, the zapper will buzz when turned on and then the light keeps blinking. This was fixed with new batteries.

Can the unit be placed in an outdoor garden?

It cannot get wet, so we have placed one in a 5 gallon bucket on its side. Any moisture will cause a malfunction. Good luck!

Is it humane? Is it instantaneous?

The text states that the voltage is applied for two minutes because rats can restart their hearts. This does not sound humane to me

It takes a AA Lithium batteries, (4) But will tell you this , If something goes wrong with it before warranty is up, customer service sucks! Had to send mine back after catching 10 rats, cause it stopped working. Customer service sucks even tho they have a great product! Guess you have to take your chances. I sent mine back over a month ago, Have not heard from them since and they have the rat zapper plus 4 batteries that I paid $6.97 for. Will not pay $33 for another because of this. My son-in-law is an exterminator! Will use his company from now on.Too bad too! Still trying to contact them and no answer. They have email address plus my address and phone number! What's up with that?
