The belt is not included.  It shows in this photo so that you can see that the back has a belt loops.  You can use your own belt.  It fits up to 1 1/2" thick belt.  The Medtronic 530 g should fit into this.  We don't have the exact measurements of each pump as they change slightly with each new pump model, however the inner measurements of this wallet are approximately 4.75" x 3.25".  If your pump is smaller than those measurements, it will fit.

How do I use this product to protect from freezing?

Thank you for your email.

While our FRIO hasn't been officially tested for length of time in and with freezing temperatures or degrees of cold, we have multiple anecdotal stories from in use experiences: mountain climbers, domestic and world wide travelers alike describing how the FRIO has helped to prevent their medication from freezing in high altitude and colder temperatures.  We also have many stories of how the FRIO protected the enclosed medication when it was accidently placed in the freezer by a family member.

The FRIO in these situations were all activated with water as they would be to protect in warmer temperatures.

As with anything, there is always a tipping point.  In extreme temperature situations (including length of time at those lower temperatures) we suggest that you treat your insulin inside of a FRIO with extra care to insure that it does not freeze.

what size is the pump wallet in inches?

The product description says "external dimensions: 120mm x 90mm (4.72 in x 3.54 in )", but these are the dimensions of the inner FRIO pouch with the cooling crystals. The outer (colored) pouch that you wear on your belt, is almost 160mm x 100mm (6.29 in x 3.94 in). There's also a third -protective- pouch, so your pump won't get too wet: 125mm x 80mm (4.92 in x 3.15 in). Don't let the FRIO pouch absorb too much water, or else you won't be able to fit your FRIO pouch containing the pump in the outer pouch...The Minimed Paradigm fits fine in the FRIO pouch.
