Some drain tubes curve immediately and the brush part is too rigid to make the turn. But it does work on many of the cars we’ve tried it on.

Small hoses
Needed it to remove gunk from a air conditioning hose. Worked beautifully it’s long and sturdy and easy to clean up after you’re done.

Sorry will not recommend
Tried in the toilet as it states it's supposed to be for this thing fell apart a piece of the metal got stuck on side the round Bowl getting it out was a real pain had to use a coat hanger finally fished it out I cannot recommend it sorry

Pipe cleaner
Kinda did what I needed. It will remove some hair/clog but only as big as the brush area.
