Melissa & Doug Role Play Collection - Goodie Tutus! Dress-Up Skirts Set (4 Costume Skirts)

***Updates are located at the bottom of this review.******Original Review***My three-year-old daughter recently became interested in princesses and dressing up so she received the Melissa & Doug Dress-Up Tiaras for Christmas. We were so happy with those that we decided to find some tutus for her birthday! I did a lot of research and found most tutus to be of poor quality that don't last or they leave glitter everywhere. When I discovered Melissa & Doug makes tutus, I immediately ordered this set because we have a number of their products and have never had a problem.When my daughter opened these for her birthday, she was so excited that she wanted to put one on right away! There are four tutus that come in this set: one purple Magical Fairy tutu, one light blue Elegant Princess tutu, one light pink Prima Ballerina tutu, and one dark pink/black Rocker Girl tutu. All of the tutus measure between 11 and 13 inches long with elastic waistlines so they can be used for several years. My daughter is approximately 29 pounds and these tutus fit her nicely. They all seem to be made really well and don't feel cheap at all. She wears at least one every day and likes to switch them out depending on the day. Two of the tutus (Magical Fairy and Elegant Princess) have sparkly material on them but they don't leave sparkles all over the house which makes me a very happy mommy! The packaging states that these tutus are made in China. The washing instructions say to hand wash and lay flat to dry.My daughter is so happy with her tutus and I'm really happy we found these! I feel it is worth it for us to purchase this four-piece set so she has several tutus to wear and can role-play with them. Besides these tutus and the tiaras, she also got the Melissa & Doug Dress-Up Wands and she has had loads of fun playing with all of them! If you are looking for some dress-up tutus for a little girl, I highly recommend these. I've been so pleased with Melissa & Doug products that we will continue to buy them in the future. These tutus, along with the Melissa & Doug wands and tiaras, have been some of my daughter's favorite new items and I would recommend them for anyone's little princess!***Update 10/16/2016 - My daughter has had these tutus since Christmas last year and still loves them! She uses them every day, sometimes multiple times a day, and they have held up wonderfully. The tutus are still look new and I'm so happy we bought these for her because they have been well-worth it to see my daughter have so much fun with them!

Super fun set. We weren’t sure if a partial costume would be a hit, but our kiddo loves them. Good size for preschooler/kinder.

I paired this set with a 4-pack of tiaras, also the Melissa & Doug brand, as the basis for a dress-up trunk for my 4-year-old granddaughter. She was thrilled with them, they fit perfectly (she's a size 6) and they are very easy for her to pull on and off for instant wardrobe changes. There is nice wide elastic at the waist and well-sewn seams - should hold up well.

I bought this set used...probably a return...and my only complaint is a strong perfume smell which would be a problem if I were using them in my home. They are for my kindergarten class, and I am sure if I air them out over the summer, the odor will be gone by fall. The skirts are colorful, well-made, similar to Disney princesses, and will no doubt be well-loved by my kindergartners this coming school year. Buy new if it's for your own child.

So cute! My granddaughter loves these little skirts! Quality made, not flimsy at all. The shoes were a little snug on her chunky little foot but that doesn’t stop her. Highly recommend!

These are very well made. They aren’t flimsy fabric that will only last a short time. My daughter loves them! She is 4 and wears a size 5-6 and these fit her well and will be able to wear them for a while.

If anyone has a toddler, they know how rough they are with things. My daughter absolutely loves these and for the price they’re holding up. They come in a bunch of fun colors
