I live in a climate where I wear sunglasses almost daily - bright in the spring & summer sun; brighter in the fall & winter with the sun reflecting off the snow. In the past I bought the cheap holders with rubber loops on the ends. They rarely made it through more than a couple of weeks of my abuse. This holder has lasted over a year and is still in perfect condition. I was hesitant to buy it for two reasons. 1) would the clips fit the thick temples on my Ray Bans?, 2) would the beads pull my long hair? The alligator clips hang on to my sunglasses beautifully. In the year I've been using it, I can remember one of the clips pulling off maybe 3 different times - but only after a huge, inadvertent tug. I can also remember only a couple of times getting my hair pulled by the beads. As a bonus, the beautiful beads go with virtually any outfit. I would not hesitate to buy this holder again, but there is no need as mine is as good as new after a year!

The strap itself is cute, but I don’t like the clips. They are kind of large and sometimes get caught in my hair. They definitely hold the glasses well, but I wanted something a little more subtle.

Got these for my mom. They don't slide up and down the frame arms. They stay in place and the whole unit is comfortable when on her face or when hanging around her neck. I purchased this particular version because of the silicone grips inside of the metal clips and I'm glad I did.

This eyeglass holder would be perfect if only the clasps were smaller in size. Although they work well and fit securely onto your glasses, imo the clasps themselves look rather cheap and clunky in comparison to the delicate/ pretty glass beads.Anyway, this is a style issue (for me personally) but you won't have to worry about losing your eyeglasses. Those clasps are very secure and certainly do the job.Hope this review was helpful.

I was looking for something that would actually HOLD my reading glasses around my neck- I need them frequently and hate the idea of constantly digging them out of my purse so I wanted something secure. The inside of the clips are added so your glasses frames won’t get scratched by the clips. And the beadwork, while simple, is beautifully done. Very happy with my purchase!

This is my 3rd order over about 8 years of this particular lanyard. They LAST! Don’t let the beauty & delicacy fool you. The only time they break (after at least 2 years) is from my own rough wear and tear. I’m farsighted, and can’t see a thing in front of my face, so I have almost made it a “style” to wear my prescription bifocals (yep!) hanging from my neck so as not to misplace them. It’s surprising how many people think I’m hip and LOVE these! Huge thanks to this smaller business for making something so beautiful that I use ALL day EVERYDAY! I also love that it is a hinged clip instead of the cheaper rubber loop. Get these! And thank you to this business!
