I assume the male plug on each piece sends the same audio signal to each of the female plugs. So, if one of the cables is plugged into a red (right) source, both females plugs carry that signal. Thus, one of the pair should have all red coding, and the other all white coding. But in fact, both cables have a red female and a white female. The documentation should show exactly what the "pinout" is for these items.This color coding has consequences. If one plugs one adapter to a right (red) RCA source and the other to a left (white ) RCA source, the downstream (female plugs) will be one R+W pair with correct polarity and the other with reversed polarity.

Buy these, and don't let the description fool you.I wired my car speakers to 2 ohm not realizing 4 channel amps can't bridge that low. At least not the ones in my budget. Used these to combine to channels, and connected to a two channel amp JBL if that matters.

I bought this cable so that I could use my sound bar as a replacement center speaker for my 3.1 system. This device worked perfectly for my use. It allowed me to combine the left and right channels of the sound bar into a single cable which I then plugged into my subwoofer. I'm not hearing any strange noises coming from the speaker so the cable quality seems to be good.Overall, a great buy.

neither my, tv's nor my receiver have enough RCA inputs or outputs. All of the inputs and outputs are so close together that these are the only splitters that will allow you to piggy back off of those outlets to get sound, from additional stereo equipment. I have some other types of splitters but there is not enough space at the back of my receivers or tvs that can accomodate them without overlapping or interfering with other inputs/outputs. These are exactly what I was looking for and intend to buy more if the need arises.

These cables work great. Nice clean signal. I’m using one of these to split the audio signal from my original Nintendo to go to my tv in stereo (not true stereo, but at least the loops and beeps can come out both sides of my stereo).I have an idea for what I want to do with my other splitter, but frankly I’m pretty sure no one is that interested.If you are, please feel free to do that ask a question thing. I’d love to explain it! Go ahead!! Try it!!
