is this lamp too bright for reading music?

I got this lamp as a piano lamp. The bulb is higher than standard piano lamps it it illuminates the sheet music just right in my opinion. It’s such a pretty lamp I can use it elsewhere if I should decide on an alternative piano lamp.

How much time do you have to return this lamp if you don’t like it?
