Fantastic!!
I don’t ever leave reviews honestly because I’m never impressed enough to feel the need. However this stove rake is so well built and made my life so much easier!! The air inlet in my wood stove is in the front. When I’m burning a lot of wood the coals tend to build a lot in the back because of lack of air. This rake gets right down to the fire brick and in 3 passes all my coals are pulled forward and into the optimum area to burn!!! Not to mention my hands aren’t even close to the fire because of the extra long handle!! I can’t believe how happy I am I bought this. Even my wife who didn’t want me to buy it is sooo happy I did. If you want a sturdy well built way to easily move around the coals then this is for you!!

Decent rake for coal stoves
This rake does a decent job for a coal stove. It doesn't have a low temp flammable coating that catches on fire instantly and smokes/stinks. The welds are pretty solid, etc.

Works perfectly!
Feels sturdy. Perfect length. Teeth spaced right for separating embers from ash. Straight edge on back works well for scrapping ashes away from door of stove.

Solid and super handy
This is now my primary go to tool when working with my woodburning stove inserts. From raking up coals to relight a fire or moving logs around.

It would be better if the opposite side of the rake was a flat bar you could pull ashes with like a hoe. It looks that way in the pics but it is bent at a 90 degree angle which makes the tool useful only as a rake.

Simple yet effective
Exactly what I was looking for and was longer than all my other fireplace tools. Longer is better! Easy to rake all the coals forward. I also use it as a bulldozer to push ash and coals back, then rake the coals forward.
