I've been using this chair for six months about 6-8 hours a day in my home office, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It replaced a very heavy (and expensive) leather executive high back chair that has arm rests. The arm rests prevented getting close to the desk, and the heavy chair was hard to move around on the low carpet. This chair is lighter, more comfortable to use at my desk, and easy to adjust (once and done). It feels like real leather and takes up less space than the giant chair it replaced. It's really not an 8-hour chair, but I do get up every hour or two to stretch my legs. I'm 160lbs, so if you weigh less, you could sit in it longer if needed. Office chairs with arm rests have caused problems with my right arm--working a mouse all day with my elbow on the arm rest does something to a nerve or tendon causing pain. That went away in a few months after using this chair; I do not miss the arm rests at all.

Bought this Chair to replace my wife's old office chair. It was easy to assemble. Its comfortable and functions well. It just isn't tall enough. Her old chair was at least a couple of inches taller than this model. Other than that, the chair is quite nice.

I have two other versions of this chair - both with fake leather aka 'leatherSoft'. I DO NOT recommend the fake leather covering. The fake leather covering is paper thin, and flakes off in a couple of years creating an ugly chair and mess on your floor. For these two chairs, I eventually bought a fabric seat cover which remedied the problem- so I'm still using both of them on a daily basis with no problem.This review is for my 3rd (fabric covered) chair. The mechanics and build quality of the chair are great, so based on my experience (above) I ordered this chair in a fabric (grey) covering. I'm also using a separate seat cover because I wanted a black chair- not grey.Obviously, since I've bought three of them, I like this chair. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 though, since the 'leather' covering is crap and you'll need to eventually buy a seat cover if you make the mistake of getting this option. Five stars for the fabric version though.

At first, this chair seemed nicely made and was comfortable to sit on for several hours per day. Unfortunately, the filling must be very cheap because the seat cushion got really flat and hard after just a few months. I ended up having to purchase a memory foam cushion to sit on top of the seat cushion in order to make it comfortable again. Two stars for the poor construction and materials of the seat cushion.

I ordered this chair and liked it so much I ordered a second. The reason I liked it so much was because it has 3 levers, 1 lever controls the height of the chair, the second level controls the seat cushion under your legs for some lift, the third lever controls the back cushion. My first chair works perfectly. After assembling the second ordered chair I found the middle seat cushion lever did not work. I called the number I was given for replacement parts. I was sent a replacement part. I paid a handyman to change the defective part because while the chair is not difficult to put together, it is almost impossible to take apart in order to replace malfunctioning part. Very disappointed that the replacement part also did not work. I complained to Amazon. Amazon was very responsive and sent me out a brand new chair at no extra cost. Yay for Amazon. However once assembled I was very disappointed to find the new chair has the same malfunction. Obviously a defect in the manufacturing!!!!!

This is a great chair for me. I'm 5'4" and 125 lbs, and I swim in most chairs. This chair was easy to put together, and is both sturdy and comfortable. The levers for adjustments were easy to understand and use - they have arrows on them indicating what adjustment they each make. Note: I was thrown off at first because it wasn't packaged well, the box had punctures, the screws were rolling around free in the box (rather than the suction package from the manufacturer), one part was cracked, and there appeared to be a spot on the fabric. In the end it all worked out. All parts were accounted for, I put the chair together, the cracked part is not visible (nor structurally necessary), and I was able to wipe down the spot on the fabric. Overall, I'm pretty excited about this chair!

I purchased this chair as a replacement chair for my new position in a new company. When the chair arrived, it was fairly easy to put together, and it did not require any tools. The plastic telescoping mechanism cover was broken at the top. I am not sure if that is the reason the chair leans a little to the right or not. The back seems to have much more support in it than the seat, which means the seat is not really comfortable. The adjustments work great and lock into place, which is a plus.I contacted Amazon about the broken piece, and the offered to either replace it or give me a discount. I really wish I had chosen the replacement, but the time frame has passed. This seat is sufficient for what I am doing, but I would probably be a little more particular when I purchase my next office chair.

I needed a new chair for my sewing machine. The one I had with arms was an office chair and I couldn't keep good posture because the arms prevented me from sitting close enough to the machine. This chair is FABULOUS! First and foremost it has great lumbar support which is what I need most. The lumbar section of the chair is adjustable with the pull of a lever. Then I can adjust the tilt of the chair which is helpful for certain projects. I can adjust the height of the chair very easily. It checks all the boxes of what I needed and it's super comfy and very affordable! Very happy with this chair!
