The only process they go through after extraction is the polishing of the edges in order to appreciate all the details of Agate formations on the edges. The back and base of our Amethysts are absolutely natural (basalt), it didn't suffer any chemical process. Our stones are never artificially dyed or treated. Have a nice day. The Deep Purple Project amethysts are extracted from the Artigas mines in northern Uruguay.

Q: Does it come with a certificate of authenticity?

Hello dear customer, Our amethysts bring a brochure where you can see all the information regarding the product. Certificates of origin in Uruguay can only be processed for each sale, making it impossible to attach a certificate to each stone. We only sell 100% natural stones from Artigas, Uruguay. I believe the Quartz Crystal means one of the layers you see when the geode is opened. You can see the purple Amethyst with small formation of crystals.
