Is it possible to connect another nanoswitch to it to power up more cameras?

Absolutely not. You cannot stack Nanoswitches. They have a limited amount of power PER PORT as well as overall (generally 24v at 1 amp).

Why isn’t the nano switch turning on when i have an ethernet cable cable from my poe unifi 24 switch to the nano switch do i need to power the nano?

You will need to use a PoE converter (Ubiquiti INS-3AF-O-G) to convert 802.3af (48v) PoE to 24V Passive PoE for the Nano.

what is the operating temperature range on this switch?

I can’t say for sure, but mine is outdoors where the temperature can vary from low 30s Fahrenheit to 110 degrees Fahrenheit, and it has continued to operate without issue.

I assume that since this is supposed to be used outside that it would hold up well in an attic?

I’ve had mine in an attic for over a year without issue. It’s the perfect switch for this.
