Full size. Board is 10 1/4 x 10 1/4 inches. Tall pieces 2 1/2 in high, short pieces 1 1/2 inches high. Pieces approx. 3/4 - 1 in width When boxed, closed box is 11x11x3 in. Sturdy, well-constructed box. Interior configuration of the box for storage well thought out, including carry pouch for pieces, seems it will keep the set in mint condition. Enjoy. Great game. If these are stacked vertically, how can you tell if the bottom piece in a stack is hollow or solid?

These are NOT stacked vertically so there is no confusion. Each piece is played directly on the board and never on another piece.

Can you post the instructions so I can see how I can see what this game actually is?

Quick answer, 4 in a row. Height, color, shape, or flat top/hole. You give the other person the piece they have to play . It's very easy to learn and hard to get good at. That said, anyone from about 8 to 80 will enjoy it and can honestly play against each other.

What material is the board made from? Wood or plastic?

Manufactured wood. It is a composite pressed board that is routed and painted and looks good.
